Die Ferienwohnung besticht durch ihren romantischen Charme und ihre kuschelige Dachterrasse. Bei all der Schönheit kommt aber auch die Funktionalität nicht zu kurz. 2024 komplett renoviert, bietet sie ein 1,80 m breites Doppelbett im großen Mansardenzimmer sowie eine ausziehbare Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmerchen mit Lattenrost für weitere zwei Personen.
Man betritt die Wohnung im 2. Stock und gelangt in einen Openspace, den Wohnzimmer und Küche bilden. Gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten, ein Kamin und toskanische Echtholzmöbel lassen den Gast sich direkt Wohlfühlen. Das italienische Feeling wird durch echte Ölgemälde und Florentiner Dekoration verstärkt. Die Küche ist eine vollständige Küche und bietet zudem noch eine Waschmaschine. Das kleine Duschbad ist modern und funktional. Die Wohnung ist mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet.
Durch eine kleine Wendeltreppe erreicht man das romantische Mansardenzimmer mit dem grossen Doppelbett und der Dachschräge (Achtung für besonders lange Personen).
Von hier geht es auch auf die Terrasse, die ein echtes Highlight ist. Hier kann man in aller Ruhe den Blick auf die Dächer Florenz’ genießen; der Glockenturm des Palazzo Vecchio mit seiner Uhr dominiert den Horizont. Die Kuppel des Doms sieht man leider nur in der laublosen Zeit.
Ein perfekter Platz, um sich zu entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Hier sind etliche Seiten meiner Romane entstanden. Die Wohnung ist optimal für 2 Personen ausgelegt, kann aber problemlos von 4 genutzt werden.
Ideal für Paare, die Florenz von seiner echten Seite kennenlernen möchten.
Lage
Unmittelbar vor dem Stadttor von San Frediano gelegen, liegt die Ferienwohnung optimal zur Besichtigung der Medici-Stadt. Wenige hundert Meter weiter beginnt die verkehrsberuhigte Zone – sprich: Die Wohnung kann problemlos mit dem PKW angefahren werden.
Freie Parkplätze sowie ein bewachter Tagesparkplatz bieten dem Auto die Abstellmöglichkeit, während man Florenz selber dann am besten zu Fuß genießt. Und wenn man irgendwann zu müde ist: Die Buslinie 6a hält vor der Türe. Der Bahnhof Santa Maria Novella liegt knapp 1 km, der Ponte Vecchio 1,5 km entfernt.
Das Zentrum erreicht man durch einen schönen Spaziergang entweder entlang des Arno oder durch die lebendigen Gassen San Fredianos, was mit unzähligen Bars und Restaurants einlädt, die kulturschweren Tage locker ausklingen zu lassen

L’appartamento colpisce per il suo fascino e la sua funzionalità. Completamente ristrutturato nel 2024, offre un letto matrimoniale largo 1,80 m nella grande mansarda e un divano letto estraibile nel soggiorno con rete a doghe per altre due persone.
Si entra nell’appartamento al secondo piano in un openspace con soggiorno e cucina. Comode sedute, un camino e mobili toscani in legno massiccio creano subito un’atmosfera accogliente. L’atmosfera italiana è arricchita da veri dipinti a olio e decorazioni fiorentine. La cucina è completamente attrezzata e dispone anche di una lavatrice. Il piccolo bagno con doccia è funzionale. L’appartamento è dotato di aria condizionata.
Una piccola scala a chiocciola conduce alla romantica mansarda con il grande letto matrimoniale e il soffitto spiovente.
Da qui si accede alla terrazza, un vero gioiello dell’appartamento. Qui si può godere in tutta tranquillità della vista sui tetti di Firenze; la torre del Palazzo Vecchio con il suo orologio domina l’orizzonte. La cupola del Duomo è visibile purtroppo solo nei periodi senza foglie.
Un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e lasciar vagare i pensieri. Molte pagine dei miei romanzi sono nate proprio qui. L’appartamento è ideale per due persone ma può essere utilizzato senza problemi anche da quattro.
Ideale per coppie che vogliono scoprire il lato autentico di Firenze.
Posizione
L’appartamento si trova direttamente davanti alla Porta San Frediano ed è perfettamente posizionato per visitare la città dei Medici. A poche centinaia di metri inizia la zona a traffico limitato.
Parcheggi gratuiti e un parcheggio custodito giornaliero permettono di lasciare l’auto nelle vicinanze mentre Firenze si gode al meglio a piedi. La linea autobus 6A ferma proprio davanti alla porta. La stazione Santa Maria Novella dista circa 1 km e il Ponte Vecchio circa 1,5 km.

The apartment combines charm and functionality. Completely renovated in 2024, it offers a spacious attic bedroom with a 1.80 m wide double bed and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room with slatted frame for two additional guests.
You enter the apartment on the second floor into an open space that combines living room and kitchen. Comfortable seating, a fireplace and solid Tuscan wooden furniture immediately create a welcoming atmosphere. The Italian feeling is enhanced by real oil paintings and Florentine decorations. The kitchen is fully equipped and also includes a washing machine. The small shower bathroom is functional. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning.
A small spiral staircase leads to the romantic attic bedroom with the large double bed and the sloping roof.
From here you can access the terrace, which is a true highlight. You can peacefully enjoy the view over the rooftops of Florence; the clock tower of the Palazzo Vecchio dominates the horizon. The dome of the cathedral can unfortunately only be seen when the trees have no leaves.
A perfect place to relax and let your thoughts wander. Many pages of my novels were written here. The apartment is ideal for two guests but can comfortably accommodate four.

Location
The apartment is located directly in front of the historic San Frediano city gate and is perfectly positioned for exploring the Medici city. Only a few hundred meters away begins the restricted traffic zone.
Free parking spaces and a guarded day parking area allow you to leave your car nearby while Florence itself is best explored on foot. Bus line 6A stops directly in front of the building. Santa Maria Novella station is about 1 km away and the Ponte Vecchio about 1.5 km.
